How to fix data-vocabulary.org schema deprecated error In Blogger?


Recently Google has decided to use http://schema.org only. From 6 April, 2020, “http://data-vocabulary.org” won’t be used for Google’s rich result features. Google webmaster users are receiving ‘Data-vocabulary.org schema deprecated’ issue. Here is the announcement’s link


Pro webmasters can fix this issue easily, but actual problem is for blogger users. Actually Breadcrumb Navigation is being used in blogger templates. So we are required to fix this issue. From now, custom themes will be updated. You will be able to download from their official site.

Must Read:

  1. If you are using Premium template, contact support team. They will fix this issue for you.

  2. If your blog is not visible on google or you are not working on SEO, then skip this process.

  3. Don’t forget to download a backup file of your blogger theme.

This is a difficult step to find Breadcrumb code in blogger template as different templates use different code for this. But below method is valid for more than 70% themes available on internet.

1) Go to Blogger Dashboard > Theme.

2) Backup your blogger theme.


3) Click on “Edit HTML” option.


4) Search for <div class='breadcrumbs' xmlns:v='http://rdf.data-vocabulary.org/#'>

You will see code like this
